The DP Open was started in 2017 by a group of UW soccer alumni who suddenly lost one of their own to sudden cardiac arrest. Proceeds from the tourney benefit the Nick of Time Foundation and our Soccership program.

A MESSAGE FROM DR. JONATHAN DREZNER
Dr. Drezner is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Director of the UW Medicine Center for Sport Cardiology at UW. He’s also the Team Physician for the Seattle Seahawks, the Medical Director for the Nick of Foundation and a major advocate for the DP Open.
